Robert B. Parker's Bye Bye Baby has added resonance for me having learned it would be Atkins' final Spenser, Mike Lupica taking over in 2023. Fitting his farewell, Atkins brings back characters he created and fleshed out earlier in his run and some Parker created who particularly resonate with him.
